The BYG20J-E3/TR is an ultrafast avalanche SMD rectifier from Vishay Dale, part of the BYG20 series. It is designed for high-frequency rectification in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V, average forward current of 1.5A, and a typical forward voltage of 1.4V at 1.5A. The device offers a typical reverse recovery time of 75ns, a maximum peak forward surge current of 30A, and a maximum reverse current of 1.0μA. It also features an avalanche energy rating of 20mJ.
