The BYG20D-E3/TR is an ultrafast avalanche SMD rectifier from Vishay, part of the BYG20 series. It is designed for high frequency rectification in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications.
This rectifier has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified current of 1.5A. It features a forward voltage of 1.4V at 1.5A, a reverse recovery time of 75ns, and a peak forward surge current of 30A. The reverse current is 1.0µA maximum. It also has an avalanche energy rating of 20mJ.
The device is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with matte tin plated terminals. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The package is UL 94 V-0 rated and meets MSL level 1.
