The BYG10M-E3/TR is a standard avalanche SMD rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diodes. It features a controlled avalanche characteristic with a maximum avalanche energy of 20 mJ at 1 A reverse current. The device offers a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1000 V and an average forward current (IF(AV)) of 1.5 A. Forward voltage is typically 1.15 V at 1.5 A, and reverse current is limited to 1.0 µA at 25 °C. The rectifier can handle a peak forward surge current of 30 A for a 10 ms half sine wave.
