The BUX98A is a multi-epitaxial mesa NPN transistor designed for industrial applications. It features a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 450V, with a collector current rating of 30A continuous (60A peak) and total power dissipation of 250W at case temperature 25°C. The device offers high voltage capability with VCES and VCER ratings of 1000V. It is housed in a TO-3 metal case for chassis mounting, providing excellent thermal management with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.7°C/W. The BUX98A is intended for applications such as high frequency and efficiency converters, as well as linear and switching industrial equipment.
