The BUV26 is a Multiepitaxial Planar NPN Transistor in TO-220 package. It is intended for use in high frequency and efficiency converters, switching regulators and motor control.
Key specifications include a maximum collector-base voltage of 180V, collector-emitter voltage of 90V, and emitter-base voltage of 7V. Continuous collector current is 14A with a peak of 25A. Power dissipation is 85W at case temperature below 25°C and 65W at 60°C. Operating junction temperature is up to 175°C with storage range of -65 to +175°C.
