The BU1008A-E3/45 is a single-phase bridge rectifier from Vishay Dale, designed for general purpose AC/DC full-wave rectification. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 800V and an average forward current of 10A when used with a 60W air cooled heatsink (TC=90°C) or 3A without heatsink (TA=25°C). The device can withstand non-repetitive peak forward surge current up to 90A (8.3ms single sine-wave at TJ=25°C). Its forward voltage is typically 1.02V at 5A (25°C) and 0.94V at 5A (125°C), with a maximum of 1.10V and 1.00V respectively. Reverse leakage current is a maximum of 5µA at 25°C and 250µA at 125°C.
The bridge rectifier is housed in a through-hole BU package (4-SIP) with matte tin plated leads and a single in-line lead style. It is RoHS3 compliant as indicated by the E3 suffix, and the molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliable operation over the temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. Applications include switching power supplies, home appliances, and white goods.

The maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) is 800V.
With a 60W air cooled heatsink (TC=90°C), the average rectified forward current is 10A. Without heatsink (TA=25°C), it is 3.0A.
At 25°C and IF=5.0A, the typical forward voltage is 1.02V, maximum 1.10V. At 125°C, typical is 0.94V, maximum 1.00V.
The non-repetitive peak forward surge current is 90A for an 8.3 ms single sine-wave at TJ=25°C.
It comes in a 4-SIP, BU package (isoCink+ BU) with through-hole mounting and matte tin plated leads.
