This device is particularly suitable for loads with high inrush currents, such as lamps and motors, and can replace electromechanical relays, fuses, and discrete circuits. It features diagnostic feedback with load current sense and open load detection via current sense.

 

The BTS650P comes in a TO-220-7 package and supports through-hole mounting. Its operating voltage ranges from 5.0 to 34V, with an on-state resistance of 4.4 mΩ typical. The device offers a load current of 70A (ISO) and a short circuit current limitation of 130A.

 

Key features include Reversave (reverse battery protection), clamp of negative voltage at the output, and fast de-energizing of inductive loads. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
