The Infineon Technologies BTS621L1 is a smart, two-channel high-side power switch based on PROFET® technology. It is designed for µC-compatible power switching applications with diagnostic feedback for 12V and 24V DC grounded loads.
Key electrical specifications include an operating voltage range of 5.0V to 34V, a maximum output current of 3.5A, and a typical on-state resistance of 80mΩ. The device integrates several protective functions, such as overload protection, current limitation, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and overvoltage protection (including load dump).
It also features undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown with auto-restart, open load detection in the ON-state, and a diagnostic feedback output. The BTS621L1 is suitable for driving all types of resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, and can replace electromechanical relays, fuses, and discrete circuits.
