The Infineon BTS50010-1TAD is a 1.0 m℉ single-channel smart high-side power switch. It is designed to drive high current loads up to 80 A, making it suitable for demanding automotive applications such as heating systems, main power distribution switches, and start-stop power supplies.
This device operates within an 8V to 18V supply voltage range, with an extended capability down to 3.2V and up to 28V. It features a low ON-state resistance of 1 m℉ at nominal conditions and a maximum of 2 m℉ at 150°C. The nominal load current is rated at 40 A at 85°C.
Embedded diagnostic and protection functions are included, such as proportional load current sensing, short circuit and overtemperature detection with latching status signals. It also incorporates Infineon's ReverSave™ for reverse battery protection and Inversave for inverse operation robustness. The switch is compatible with cranking pulse requirements and PWM applications with low frequencies.
The BTS50010-1TAD is supplied in a PG-TO-263-7-10 package, designed for surface mounting.
