The Samtec BSW-108-04-T-M is a single row, 8 position bottom mount socket strip from the BSW series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100 inch) pitch and tin plated phosphor bronze contacts. The insulator is black thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. This receptacle is designed for through-hole mounting on the underside of a PCB, enabling low profile board-to-board connections. Electrical characteristics include an insulation resistance of 5000 MΩ minimum and a withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS at 60 Hz. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C. The push-pull fastening type ensures secure mating with compatible header strips such as Samtec TSW, MTSW, HTSW, and others.
