This transistor offers fast switching and a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.3V at IB = 500µA and IC = 500mA. Maximum power dissipation is 1W at 25°C ambient temperature, and the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 125°C/W when mounted on a standard FR4 PCB. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.

 

The BST52TA is supplied in the SOT89 (TO-243AA) surface-mount package with matte tin terminals. It is lead-free, RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high-reliability applications. Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020.
