The Texas Instruments BQ7693007DBTR is a robust analog front-end (AFE) device for battery pack monitoring and protection. It supports 6 to 10 series cells and is compatible with multiple battery chemistries, including Li-ion and Li-iron phosphate.
Key features include an internal ADC for measuring cell voltage, die temperature, and pack current. It offers hardware protection against overcurrent, short circuits, overvoltage, and undervoltage conditions. The device integrates cell balancing FETs and drivers for charge/discharge low-side NCH FETs.
Designed for low power consumption, it includes a SHIP mode for ultra-low power states. The BQ7693007DBTR operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is available in a 30-TSSOP surface mount package.
