The Bel Power Solutions BPD1002 backplane is engineered for the rapid setup of 19" rack-mounted power supply systems utilizing T Series AC-DC converters. This accessory facilitates the configuration of telecom rectifiers, battery chargers, and modular power bus systems, with the option for n+1 redundancy.
With a maximum power capacity of 1.6 kW, the BPD1002 supports systems using up to three T Series converters. It is designed for both single and triple-phase AC input, offering flexibility in power source connection. The backplane also provides controller functions, integrating monitoring and control signals through a screw terminal strip.
System expansion is simplified due to the hot-plug capability of the AC-DC converters, allowing for load-time upgrades from lower power configurations up to 1.6 kW. For larger system power requirements, multiple racks can be interconnected. The BPD1000 version, specifically, includes decoupling diodes for systems requiring parallel or redundant configurations.
