The C&K Components BPA02RB is a side-actuated DIP switch from the BPA series, suitable for applications such as address switches in industrial controls, logic switching in computers and peripherals, and general function control. This model features a piano actuator and a raised actuator level.
This switch has a Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) configuration with 2 positions. It is rated for a maximum of 100mA at 5VDC or 25mA at 24VDC, with a contact resistance of 50 milliohms initial maximum. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 100 megohms at 100 VDC, and it has a dielectric withstand voltage of 300 VAC for 1 minute.
Constructed with a PPS housing and cover, PA-6T actuator, Beryllium Copper contacts with Gold plating, and Brass terminals with Gold over Nickel plating, the BPA02RB is designed for durability. It operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C and has a mechanical and electrical life of at least 1,000 cycles. The switch is flow solderable and washable.
The BPA02RB is designed for through-hole, right-angle mounting with a pitch of 2.54mm (0.100"). Its height above the board is 0.287" (7.30mm). Switches are supplied in rigid dispensing tubes.
