The BP2833D from BPS is a high-precision, non-isolated buck constant current LED driver designed for universal input offline LED lighting (85Vac~265Vac). It operates in critical conduction mode and integrates a 500V power MOSFET, eliminating the need for an auxiliary winding for chip supply.

 

This LED driver achieves excellent constant current performance with minimal external components, reducing system cost and size. It utilizes a patent-pending current control method for precise output current and excellent line regulation. The output current remains stable regardless of inductance or LED output voltage.

 

The BP2833D includes several protection features for enhanced system reliability, such as LED open circuit protection, LED short circuit protection, VCC undervoltage protection, CS resistor short circuit protection, and thermal regulation. It is available in a DIP-8 package.

 

Applications include LED tubes, ceiling lights, bulbs, and other general LED lighting solutions.
