The Hirose Electric BM22L-4P-V(53) is a 4-position board-to-board header connector designed for surface mount applications. It features a shrouded 4-wall design with a friction lock fastening system for secure mating. The connector has 2 signal and 2 power contacts, all loaded, with outer shroud contacts made of copper alloy and plated with 2.00µin (0.051µm) of gold.
The insulation is molded from black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the insulation height is 0.75mm (0.030"). The operating temperature range is -35°C to 85°C, and the voltage rating is 50V. Termination is via solder to the surface mount pads.
This header is suitable for board-to-board interconnections in compact electronic assemblies where a low-profile, reliable connection is required. The friction lock ensures retention under vibration.
