The JST BM20B-SRDS-A-G-TF is a surface mount header from the SHD series, featuring 20 positions in a 2-row configuration with a 1.00mm pitch. It is designed for board-to-cable/wire applications and uses a shrouded 4-wall design to prevent misinsertion. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish, ensuring reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The header is rated for 1A current and 50V voltage, with a contact resistance of 20mΩ maximum initial and 40mΩ after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum, and the part withstands 500VAC. The insulation material is glass-filled polyamide (nylon) with a natural color, and it has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to 85°C. Additional features include a board guide, pick-and-place capability, and solder retention for automated assembly.
