The JST BM16B-ZPDSS-TF(LF)(SN) is a 16-position, 2-row, 1.5mm pitch surface mount header from the ZPD series. It features a shrouded 4-wall design with a locking ramp for secure mating. The header is designed for board-to-cable/wire applications and uses tin-plated copper alloy contacts with a rectangular contact shape. The insulator is made of polyamide (PA) nylon in natural color with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 2A (AWG #24) and a voltage rating of 100V. Contact resistance is 30mΩ maximum initial and 60mΩ maximum after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 500MΩ minimum, and the withstanding voltage is 500V AC per minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C.
The header is surface mount with solder termination and includes a solder retention feature. It is packaged in emboss tape. The part is RoHS compliant.
