The Infineon BGB707L7ESD is a high-performance Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMIC built on Infineon's silicon germanium carbon (SiGe:C) bipolar technology. It offers a minimum noise figure of 0.6 dB at 2.4 GHz, 3 V, and 3 mA. The device operates with a supply voltage ranging from 1.8 V to 4.0 V at 25 °C and includes integrated ESD protection of 2 kV HBM at all pins.
This MMIC is qualified for industrial applications according to JEDEC standards. Potential applications include satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo), wireless communications such as WLAN 2.4 GHz and 5-6 GHz bands, broadband LTE or WiMAX LNA, and ISM applications like RKE and smart meters, as well as emerging applications like DVB-Terrestrial.
The BGB707L7ESD comes in a TSLP-7-1 package. The RF power on/off function is controlled by the VCtrl pin. An external resistor (Rext) can be used to increase the pre-set current of 2.1 mA.
