BFCN-3115+

Mini-Circuits BFCN-3115+ is an LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) band pass filter designed for RF applications requiring a compact surface mount solution. The filter covers a passband of 2720 to 3570 MHz with a center frequency of 3115 MHz and a bandwidth of 850 MHz. It offers low insertion loss of 1.7 dB typical and 3 dB maximum across the passband, with return loss of 6.0 dB minimum and 8.5 dB typical. Stop band rejection is 24 dB typical from DC to 1850 MHz and 23 dB typical from 4300 to 8160 MHz, making it suitable for harmonic rejection.

The filter is constructed using LTCC technology with multiple layers to achieve miniature size and high repeatability. Wrap-around terminations minimize parasitic effects and provide excellent solderability. The component is housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package with FV1206 case code, measuring 3.20 mm x 1.60 mm with a maximum height of 0.94 mm. It is designed for surface mount assembly and can handle up to 1.5 Watts RF power within the passband, derating to 0.25W at +100°C.

Operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C, and the filter is rated for 50 Ohm impedance. The termination style is wrap-around, with pin configuration: RF IN on pin 1, RF OUT on pin 3, and ground on pins 2 and 4. Typical applications include harmonic rejection, transmitters/receivers, and military/avionics systems where compact size and reliable performance are required.
