The BFCN-1690+ is a ceramic band pass filter from Mini-Circuits designed for RF applications. It uses LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) construction for temperature stability and compact size. The filter covers a passband of 1570 to 1810 MHz with a center frequency of 1690 MHz and a characteristic impedance of 50Ω.
Electrical performance includes a typical insertion loss of 2.5 dB (5.0 dB max) and a typical VSWR of 1.29:1 (2.0:1 max) across the passband. Stopband rejection is at least 17 dB from DC to 1200 MHz and 20 dB from 2170 to 4400 MHz. The filter can handle up to 1W RF power at 25°C, derated linearly to 0.25W at 100°C.
The component is housed in a 6-SMD, no lead package with case style FV1206-1, measuring 3.20 mm x 1.60 mm with a maximum height of 0.042 inches (1.07 mm) per existing data, though the datasheet specifies 0.035 inches (0.89 mm) typical. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C. It is RoHS compliant.
This filter is suitable for harmonic rejection and transmitter/receiver applications. Its surface-mount design makes it easy to integrate into compact RF modules.
