The BFCN-1575+ from Mini-Circuits is a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) band pass filter designed for the 1.575GHz GPS frequency band. It covers a passband of 1530 to 1620 MHz with a center frequency of 1.575GHz and a bandwidth of 90 MHz.
The filter offers a typical insertion loss of 2.0 dB in the passband and is designed for 50 Ohm systems. It can handle up to 1.5W RF input power at 25°C, derated linearly to 0.25W at 100°C. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 100°C.
The device is housed in a compact 4-SMD, no lead package with case style FV1206, measuring 3.20mm x 1.60mm x 0.94mm. Wrap-around terminations provide excellent solderability and visual inspection capability. The LTCC construction ensures high repeatability and ruggedness for demanding environments.
This filter is suitable for GPS and other GNSS applications requiring sharp rejection near the passband. Its small size allows for high layout density on circuit boards.
