This is a 0.47 µF metallized polypropylene film capacitor from the MKP336 series, designed for Class X2 interference suppression. It is a radial through-hole component with PC pin terminations and a flame-retardant plastic case. The capacitor is intended for standard across-the-line applications where suppression of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) is required.
The component has a capacitance tolerance of ±20% and a rated DC voltage of 630 V at 110 °C or 800 V at 85 °C. It also carries a rated AC voltage of 310 V at 50–60 Hz. It meets reference standards including IEC 60384-14, EN 60384-14, UL 60384-14, CSA E384-14 and CQC GB/T6346.14-2015. The operating temperature range is -55 °C to +110 °C.
The radial package has a lead spacing of 27.5 mm, with dimensions of approximately 31.5 mm length, 9 mm width and 19 mm seated height. The dielectric is metallized polypropylene film, and the construction is sealed in an epoxy resin case with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
Note that the manufacturer datasheet marks this part as 'Not for New Designs' and lists the MKP339 X2 as an alternative device.
