The BF720T1G is an NPN silicon bipolar junction transistor designed for general-purpose switching and amplification applications. It features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 300V and a maximum collector current of 100mA.
With a DC current gain (hFE) of 50 minimum at 25mA and 20V, and a transition frequency of 60MHz, it is suitable for moderate-speed switching. The collector-emitter saturation voltage is 600mV maximum at 30mA and 5mA base current.
The device is housed in a surface-mount SOT-223 (TO-261) package with gull wing leads. It can dissipate up to 1.5W and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 83.3°C/W.
The BF720T1G is AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for automotive applications. It is also Pb-free, halogen free/BFR free, and RoHS compliant. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 1000 units per reel.
