The SML BDX-20 is a durable moisture meter designed for professionals in the building trades. It features an ergonomic design with an easy-grip handle and large tactile buttons for comfortable operation. The custom LCD display provides clear, accurate readings.
The BDX-20 includes three built-in measurement scales: Wood (6%-60% Doug Fir), Drywall (0.2%-6%), and a Reference Scale (0-100). It also offers wood temperature correction in °F/°C, an adjustable alarm set point to alert users to selected moisture content levels, and on-screen statistics including High, Low, Average, Standard Deviation, and Last 10 readings. The meter includes internal calibration checks and compatibility with any Delmhorst external electrode.
Power is supplied by two AA batteries, and a "Low Batt" warning with audio alerts the user. An auto-off timer can be set to 1, 4, or 10 minutes to conserve power. The meter comes with a sturdy plastic carrying case for protection and portability. Dimensions are 8.65in x 2.85in x 1.55in for the meter only.
