This meter includes three built-in measurement scales: 6%-60% for Wood (Douglas Fir), 0.1%-6% for Drywall, and a 0-100 Reference Scale. It also features wood temperature correction in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, an adjustable alarm set point to alert users to selected moisture content levels, and on-screen statistics including High, Low, Average, Standard Deviation, and Last 10 readings. The BDX-20 also includes an internal calibration check and correction for pins/electrodes.

It is compatible with all Delmhorst external electrodes. The meter is powered by two AA batteries (included) and features a low battery warning with an audio alert. An auto-off timer can be set to 1, 4, or 10 minutes to conserve power. The BDX-20 comes with a sturdy plastic carrying case for protection and portability. Dimensions are 8.65 x 2.85 x 1.55 inches for the meter only, and it weighs 0.45 oz.
