The C&K BD08 is a standard profile DIP switch featuring an extended slide actuator for easy actuation. It offers Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) functionality across 8 positions, making it suitable for logic switching in computers and peripherals, as well as for function controlling and industrial control address switches.
This switch is designed for through-hole mounting with a 2.54mm pitch and has a contact rating of 100mA at 5VDC or 25mA at 25VDC. The contacts are gold-plated over nickel on phosphor bronze, ensuring reliable performance. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The construction includes a glass-filled polyester (PBT) case and cover, and a glass-filled nylon 6/6 actuator, both flame retardant. The open bottom construction allows for solder washing without the need for a tape seal. The BD08 series is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1.
