The C&K Components BD06AV is a standard profile DIP switch from the BD Series. It features an extended actuator for easy actuation and an open bottom construction that allows for solder washing without the need for a tape seal.
This SPST switch offers 6 positions and is designed for applications such as function controlling, logic switching in computers and peripherals, and industrial control address switches. It has a contact rating of 100mA at 5VDC and a mechanical and electrical life of 10,000 make-and-break cycles.
The BD06AV is mounted via Through Hole, Right Angle termination style with PC pins. The case and cover are made of glass-filled polyester (PBT), flame retardant (UL 94V-0), and the actuator is glass-filled nylon 6/6, flame retardant, heat stabilized (UL 94V-0). The contacts are gold over nickel over phosphor bronze, and the terminals are matte-tin over nickel over phosphor bronze.
