The C&K Components BD05AV is a standard profile DIP switch designed for function controlling, logic switching, and address switching applications. It features an extended actuator for easy actuation and an open bottom construction that allows for solder washing.
This SPST switch offers 5 positions and a contact rating of 100mA at 5VDC. The contact material is phosphor bronze with a gold over nickel finish, and the terminals are matte-tin over nickel over phosphor bronze. It has a pitch of 2.54mm (0.100") and a height above board of 0.380" (9.64mm).
The switch operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and has a mechanical and electrical life of 10,000 make-and-break cycles. The case and cover are made of glass-filled polyester (PBT), flame retardant (UL 94V-0), and the actuator is glass-filled nylon 6/6, flame retardant, heat stabilized (UL 94V-0).
Mounting is through-hole, right-angle, with PC pin termination style. The BD05AV is washable and RoHS3 compliant.
