The C&K Components BD01 is a standard profile DIP switch designed for function controlling and logic switching applications. It features an extended actuator for easy actuation and an open bottom construction that allows for solder washing.
This switch offers SPST circuitry with a contact rating of 100mA at 5VDC or 25mA at 25VDC. It has a contact resistance of typically below 50 milliohms and an insulation resistance of at least 1 Gohms. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
Designed for through-hole mounting, the BD01 has a pitch of 2.54mm (0.100"). The case and cover are made of glass-filled polyester (PBT), flame retardant (UL 94V-0), and the actuator is glass-filled nylon 6/6, flame retardant, heat stabilized (UL 94V-0). The contacts are gold over nickel over phosphor bronze, and terminals are matte-tin over nickel over phosphor bronze.
This switch is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1. It is suitable for applications such as address switches for industrial controls, logic switching for computers and peripherals, and function controlling in numerous applications.
