The BCX6825TA is an NPN silicon planar medium power transistor from Diodes Incorporated. It features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 20V and a continuous collector current rating of 1A, with a peak pulse current of 2A. The device offers a DC current gain (hFE) of 160 minimum at 500mA and 1V, and a low saturation voltage of 500mV maximum at 1A. The transition frequency is 100MHz typical. This transistor is designed for medium power switching and amplification applications. It is housed in a SOT89-3 surface mount package (TO-243AA) with a matte tin finish and green molding compound. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability applications. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C junction temperature.
