The DC current gain (hFE) is a minimum of 100 at 150mA/2V, and the collector-emitter saturation voltage (VCE(sat)) is a maximum of 500mV at 500mA/50mA. The transition frequency (fT) is 150MHz, making it suitable for medium power switching and linear amplification applications.

 

Designed for general purpose medium power switching and amplification, the BCX5416TA is commonly used in AF driver and output stages. The device is housed in a surface mount SOT89-3 package (TO-243AA) with matte tin finish terminals. It is fully RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen and antimony free (green device). The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance of 225°C/W when mounted on FR4 PCB.
