The BCX38C is an NPN silicon planar medium power Darlington transistor from Diodes Incorporated. It combines two transistors in a single Darlington configuration to deliver very high current gain, with a minimum hFE of 10000 at 500mA collector current and 5000 at 100mA. The device is rated for a collector-emitter voltage of 60V, collector-base voltage of 80V, and emitter-base voltage of 10V.
Electrical characteristics include a continuous collector current rating of 800mA, peak pulse current of 2A, and power dissipation of 1W at 25°C ambient.
