The BCS-140-L-D-TE is a 80-position, dual-row female socket strip from Samtec's BCS series, designed for board-to-board stacking applications. It utilizes the Tiger Claw™ dual-wipe contact system for reliable pass-through connections in top-entry configurations. The connector is through-hole mounted with solder termination and features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and row spacing.
Electrical ratings include 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW headers and 5.0A per contact with TSM headers, with a voltage rating of 495 VAC mated with TSM. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer rated UL94 V-0, and contacts are phosphor bronze with 10 µ" gold plating on the mating surface and matte tin on the tail, meeting the -L plating option.
