The BCS-125-L-D-TE from Samtec is a 50-position, 2-row pass-through socket strip from the BCS series. Designed for board-to-board applications, it features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and through-hole solder termination. The contact system uses Samtec's Tiger Claw dual-wipe design for high reliability. Contact finish is 10µin gold on the contact area with matte tin on the solder tail, over 50µin nickel underplating.
Electrically, the connector is rated at 5.0A per contact when mated with TSM headers and 4.6A when mated with TSW headers. The voltage rating is 495VAC when mated with TSM. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +125°C, and the insulator material is black liquid crystal polymer with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
The BCS-125-L-D-TE supports top and bottom entry pass-through arrangements, making it flexible for various stacking heights. It mates with a wide range of Samtec header strips including TSW, MTSW, HTSW, TSM, and others. Packaging is in tubes of 9 pieces.
