The Samtec BCS-115-L-D-PE-BE is a 30 position, 2 row, 2.54mm pitch pass-through socket strip from the BCS series. It features a Tiger Claw dual-wipe contact system for reliable connections in board-to-board applications. The connector is designed for through hole mounting with solder termination and accepts female socket contacts with gold plating on the contact area and matte tin on the tail.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW series headers, and a maximum voltage rating of 495VAC when mated with TSM series headers. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer rated UL94 V-0 for flammability.
This pass-through entry (PE) connector allows for top and bottom entry configurations, with an insertion depth of 4.34mm to 7.24mm from the top and 5.64mm plus board thickness from the bottom. It mates with a variety of Samtec header series including TSW, MTSW, HTSW, HMTSW, TSS, ZSS, DW, EW, ZW, HW, TSM, MTLW, and PHT. Packaging is in tubes with a standard quantity of 15 pieces.
