The Samtec BCS-114-L-S-HE is a 14-position single row right angle through-hole socket strip from the BCS series. It features a receptacle connector type with female socket contacts and a push-pull fastening type. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold flash on the contact area and matte tin on the tail, plated over 50 µ" nickel. The pitch is 2.54mm (0.100") and the insulation height is 3.18mm (0.125").
This connector is rated for board-to-board applications and supports a current rating of 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW headers and 5.0A per contact when mated with TSM headers. The voltage rating is 450VAC when mated with TSW and 495VAC when mated with TSM. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The part is lead-free solderable.
The BCS-114-L-S-HE is packaged in tubes with 15 pieces per tube. It is designed for through-hole right angle mounting and is suitable for top and bottom entry pass-through applications.
