The BCS-108-L-S-HE is a single row, 8 position pass-through socket strip from Samtec's BCS series. It uses the Tiger Claw dual-wipe contact system for reliable top and bottom entry applications. The connector features a 2.54mm pitch and is through hole, right angle mounted. Contact material is phosphor bronze with gold flash on contact and matte tin on tail. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Electrical ratings: 4.6A per pin when mated with TSW, 5.0A per pin when mated with TSM (2 positions powered). Voltage rating is 450 VAC for -HE configuration mated with TSW. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The part is supplied in tubes of 27 pieces. This connector is suitable for board-to-board stacking applications where space is limited.
