The Samtec BCS-106-L-D-PE is a Tiger Claw pass-through socket strip from the BCS series. It features 12 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch, designed for through hole mounting with solder termination. The insulator is molded from black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0, with an insulation height of 7.37mm and contact length of 3.25mm.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 4.6A per contact and a voltage rating of 475VAC. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 125°C. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a tin finish over 50µ" (1.27µm) nickel underplating, with a contact finish thickness of 0.25µm (10µin).
This pass-through entry variant (-PE) supports both top and bottom entry applications, making it suitable for board-to-board stacking configurations.
