The Samtec BCS-105-L-S-PE-BE is a 5-position, single row pass-through socket strip from the BCS series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and through-hole solder termination. The contact finish is 10µ" (0.25µm) gold on the contact area with matte tin on the tail, over a phosphor bronze contact material. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0.
The pass-through entry design allows for top or bottom PCB mating, supporting vertical or horizontal orientation. The Tiger Claw™ dual-wipe contact system ensures reliable connectivity. Electrical ratings include 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW series headers, and 5.0A per contact when mated with TSM. The voltage rating is 495 VAC when mated with TSM. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
Packaging is in tubes with a standard quantity of 44 pieces per tube. This connector is suitable for board-to-board stacking applications and is compatible with a wide range of Samtec mating headers such as TSW, TSM, DW, and others.
