The BCM8706SBIFBG is a high-performance 10.3125 Gbps Ethernet transceiver from Broadcom Limited. Designed for 10GBASE applications, it integrates a serializer/deserializer (SerDes) with clock and data recovery (CDR) and advanced equalization to ensure signal integrity over long traces or backplanes. The device supports multiple interfaces including XAUI, XFI, MDIO, and I2C, enabling flexible connection to MAC controllers and optical modules.
