The BC857CLT3G is a PNP silicon general purpose transistor from ON Semiconductor's BC856ALT1G series. Designed for general purpose switching and amplification applications, it features a collector-emitter voltage rating of -45V and a continuous collector current of -100mA (-200mA peak). The device offers a DC current gain (hFE) range of 420 to 800 at Ic=2mA, Vce=5V and a maximum Vce saturation voltage of 650mV at Ib=5mA, Ic=100mA. With a transition frequency of 100MHz, it is suitable for low to medium frequency circuits. The transistor is housed in a surface mount SOT-23-3 (TO-236) package and has an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Power dissipation is 225mW on FR-5 board and 300mW on alumina substrate.
