The BC848BWT1G is an NPN silicon general purpose transistor from ON Semiconductor, designed for low power surface mount amplifier and switching applications. It features a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 30V, a continuous collector current of 100mA, and a DC current gain (hFE) ranging from 200 minimum to 290 typical at 2mA collector current and 5V VCE. The saturation voltage (VCE(sat)) is 600mV maximum at 5mA base current and 100mA collector current. With a transition frequency of 100MHz, it is suitable for general purpose amplification up to moderate frequencies.
The transistor is housed in the industry-standard SC-70/SOT-323 surface mount package (SC-70-3 / SOT323), which is optimized for low power dissipation and compact PCB layouts.
