The BC847C-7-F is an NPN small signal transistor from Diodes Incorporated designed for switching and AF amplifier applications. It features a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 45V and a maximum collector current (IC) of 100mA, with a peak collector current (ICM) of 200mA. The device offers a typical transition frequency (fT) of 300MHz and a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 420 at 2mA collector current and 5V collector-emitter voltage.
The transistor is housed in a surface-mount SOT23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) with matte tin plated leads. It has an operating junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and a thermal resistance (RθJA) of 40°C/W. The package is molded from green molding compound with UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
This transistor is suitable for general-purpose switching and amplification in low-power circuits. Its complementary PNP types are BC856–BC858. The device is fully RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free, with moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020. It is supplied on 7-inch reels with 3000 units per reel.
