The BC847BW-7-F is a NPN silicon epitaxial planar transistor designed for switching and AF amplifier applications. It is rated for a collector-emitter voltage of 45V and a continuous collector current of 100mA. The DC current gain is typically 200 at 2mA collector current and 5V collector-emitter voltage. The transistor has a transition frequency of 300MHz and a maximum power dissipation of 200mW. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
The device is housed in a SOT323 surface-mount package, which is molded with a green compound and features matte tin plated leads. It is fully RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 per J-STD-020. The complementary PNP types (BC856W–BC858W) are available for push-pull configurations.
This transistor is suitable for automatic insertion and is ideal for low-power general-purpose switching and amplification in consumer, industrial, and automotive applications (when qualified for automotive).
