The BC846B-7-F is an NPN small signal transistor designed for switching and AF amplifier applications. It offers a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 65V and a continuous collector current of 100mA. The device features a DC current gain (hFE) of 200 minimum at 2mA, 5V, and a transition frequency of 300MHz. The collector-emitter saturation voltage is 600mV maximum at 5mA base current and 100mA collector current. The transistor is housed in a surface-mount SOT23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59). It is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. The device is suitable for automatic insertion and is complementary to PNP types BC856–BC858.
