The Samtec BBD-118-G-C is a .100" (2.54mm) pitch double row screw machine terminal strip designed for board-to-board applications. It features 36 positions (2 rows of 18) with male pin contacts and a through hole solder termination. The insulator is black glass filled polyester with an insulation height of 14.86mm (0.585").

 

Contacts are machined from phosphor bronze or brass with a 20µ" (0.51µm) gold plating over 50µ" nickel underplate. The overall contact length is 0.835" (21.21mm) with a contact length of 3.18mm (0.125"). The unshrouded push-pull fastening type allows easy mating with compatible Samtec socket strips such as the SS, SD, HSS, SL, SDL, ESS, and ESD series.

 

This header is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It is packaged in tubes of 12 pieces. The BBD-118-G-C is UL recognized (File No. E111594) and is not lead-free solderable; it requires lead wave soldering only.
