The BB131,135 is a VHF variable capacitance diode (varicap) designed for electronic tuning applications. It is manufactured by NXP Semiconductors in a very small plastic SMD package (SOD323/SC-76). This diode offers excellent linearity and is suitable for satellite tuners, tunable coupling, and VCO circuits.
The diode has a maximum reverse voltage of 30V and a forward current of 20mA. Its capacitance varies from 8-17pF at 0.5V to 0.7-1.055pF at 28V (measured at 1MHz), providing a capacitance ratio of 12 to 16. The series resistance is a maximum of 3Ω at 470MHz.
