The BAV70 is a dual common cathode switching diode designed for high-speed switching applications. It is rated for a reverse voltage of 70V and a forward current of 200mA, with a power dissipation of 225mW. The device offers fast switching with a reverse recovery time of 6ns.
Electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of 0.715V at 1mA, 0.855V at 10mA, 1V at 50mA, and 1.25V at 150mA. Reverse leakage current is 2.5µA at 70V. The diode has a capacitance of 1.5pF between terminals.
The device is housed in a surface mount SOT-23 package (also known as TO-236-3, SC-59). It is suitable for automatic insertion and has plated leads solderable per MIL-STD-202. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
This diode array is ideal for general purpose and switching applications requiring high conductance and fast switching. The package is molded plastic with UL 94V-0 flammability classification and is lead-free.
