The BAV23A-7 is a surface mount high voltage dual switching diode array from Diodes Incorporated. It contains two diodes connected in a common anode configuration, each rated for 200V maximum DC blocking voltage and 400mA continuous forward current. The fast recovery time of 50ns makes it suitable for high-speed switching applications. Reverse leakage current is typically 100nA at 200V, ensuring low power loss. Forward voltage is typically 1.25V at 200mA. The device can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 9A for 1µs. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.

 

The diode array is housed in a compact SOT23 surface mount package, which is ideal for space-constrained designs. The package is molded plastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020. Terminals are matte tin finish over alloy 42 leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202 Method 208. The device is totally lead-free, RoHS compliant, and halogen and antimony free. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. This part is qualified to JEDEC standards for high reliability and is suitable for battery-powered portable applications, high-speed switching circuits, and reverse polarity protection.
